A cooperation protocol was signed in 2018 between the AVL company, headquartered in Austria, and the Mechanical Engineering Department of Gazi University, within the scope of the "AVL University Partnership" program. The requirements have been met for the protocol to remain valid. In this context, the use of FIRE, BOOST and FIRE-M programs, which allow combustion and performance analysis of internal combustion engines, continues to undergraduate, graduate students and faculty members of the department.
