Dear Students,

Students who have applied for the 2024-2025 academic year Spring Semester PhD Qualification Exam, which will be held between May 1-31, 2025, are required to submit the following documents in person to the Department Chair by March 21, 2025:

1. FBE DR 1 - PhD Qualification Exam Application Form (to be completed electronically).

2. A petition listing the courses you will be examined on, which must:

• Be approved and signed by the advisor,
• Indicate the instructor responsible for each selected course,
• Include only graduate-level courses taken within the department.

Below are the scheduled dates for the 2024-2025 Spring Semester PhD Qualification Exam:

Exam Dates (for all students)

1. Undergraduate-Level Written Exam: May 1, 2025

Two sessions: 10:00 AM & 2:00 PM

2. Graduate-Level Written Exam: May 5, 2025

Two sessions: 10:00 AM & 2:00 PM

3. Oral Exam: May 15-30, 2025
