The EU Scholarships project is excited to announce that the new application period will officially open on 15 September 2025 at 00:00.

This year’s call comes with two major expansions that make the scholarships more inclusive and accessible than ever before.

Previously limited to students in only 23 provinces, the EU Scholarships will now cover all provinces of Türkiye. This means that no matter where you are studying — from Edirne to Hakkari, from İzmir to Van — you will be eligible to apply if you meet the criteria.

In addition, the scholarship has been expanded to include students enrolled in vocational education programs (önlisans and meslek yüksekokulu). This marks an important step in opening doors for thousands of students pursuing vocational degrees alongside undergraduate and graduate students.

Who can apply?

Students registered in any higher education institution in Türkiye who are under temporary protection (Syrians), under international protection, or who hold Turkish citizenship can submit their applications.

To be eligible, applicants must:

• Be at least 18 years old by the last day of the application period and not have reached the age of 35.
• Be registered in one of the following faculties and departments: Engineering, Economics, Administrative and Social Sciences, Business Administration, Design and Architecture, Art and Science, Education, Law, Language, Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, or Communication.
• Have a minimum GPA of 2.5 out of 4.0, or 65 out of 100.

Please note: Students currently benefitting from ESPS scholarships are not eligible for EU Scholarships. Additionally, Language Preparatory students and students enrolled in Remote and Open Education faculties are not eligible.
