Summer Practices

Each student should accomplish his/her 3 summer practices in order to graduate. Information about summer practices are given below. Each student should read and follow these instructions.

GENERAL INFORMATION ON SUMMER PRACTICES

Before starting the Summer Practice processing steps, the document below must be read carefully:

 

Step 1. Specifying the Company for summer practice

Student should download the related file of the Summer Practice Database, if the company does not exist at the database, an informing script about the company should be submitted to the related research assistant of the summer practice. More than one practice is not allowed at the same company. Summer practice can not be made at the same time with summer school and semester. Summer practice dates should be continuous.

 

If demanded by the applied firm, the form below maight be downloaded and after filling the necessary information, is submitted to the Firm.

P.S.: In addition, various companies announces additional student quotas every year. These are shown on our bulletins or published in our website. Students who wish to apply to these quotas, should download the PREFERENCE FORM and apply according to the information given at the announcement.

 

Step 2. Obligatory Summer Practice Form and Bounty

Student should download the OBLIGATORY SUMMER PRACTICE FORM and fill the necessary information, adding his/her photo. Before coming to the Department, student should take the form to the firm and the firm signs and seals the related areas.

 

If the firm demands, The Summer Practice Bounty form can be submitted to the firm.

 

Step 3. Filling out the Documents

After completing the previous steps, the student should download the SUMMER PRACTICE POLICY. Photos are added to the related pages of APPENDICES.

 

 

Step 4. Approval

The student should submit the following documents to the related research assistant until Friday at the 3rd week of June. The documents which passed the deadline are not accepted.

  1. All Forms in APPENDICES
  2. Obligatory Summer Practice Form (2 copies)

 

Step 5. Beginning the Summer Practice

The student begins his/her practice on the exact dates specified before on the Forms. The dates can not be changed or edited later.

 

Step 6. Inspection

Summer Practice Commission might audit the student at his/her company any time. Students who can not be found at the company during this time fails the practice. Students absent due to their health problems must bring their reports to the related res. assistant and this lost time is added to his practice span.

 

Step 7. Registering the Summer Practice during Fall Enrolment

After finishing the practice, at the beginning of the Fall semester, the student should register his/her related practice. Otherwise he/she fails from the Summer Practice.

 

Step 8. Constituting the Summer Practice Report

Students should write his report and finish it until Friday at the 2nd week of new semester. The reports should be submitted with the CD and Grading page in closed envelope to the Department Student Affairs.
